The Old Schwamb Mill presents the exhibit "The Road Where It Happened: Revolution Comes to Menotomy," including works from "No Place Like Home" by Paul Beckingham, Bonita LeFlore and Kayla Myers courtesy of 13FOREST Gallery, Arlington’s 250 Committee, and an interactive gallery for families. This exhibit examines the landscape and people of Menotomy and their role in the founding of the United States of America. This extensive display will be shown in the Mill's Gallery from December 7 through May 31, 2025. Join the Opening Reception this Saturday, December 7, 2:30 to 4:00 pm!

The Umbrella Visual Arts Program, in collaboration with The Umbrella Arts Education Program, presents an artist talk by Ceramics Artist-in-Residence Kyle Johns. On November 2, 2023, 4PM , johns will discuss his work in a presentation in our Black Box Theater. Using the traditionally rigid process of mold making found at the core of industrial production, Kyle deconstructs and reassembles plaster mold positives to explore new ways of creating one-off slip cast objects. Kyle’s talk will journey through the different stages of his development as an artist, from his early days as a wheel throwing potter to his current work. See https://theumbrellaarts.org/talks

Signal boosting for our friends at NOA Gallery, inviting to an artist reception this Sunday, Sept 10 at The Groton Inn. See their new gallery exhibition plus the next traveling iteration of "Go Out Doors - Neighbors," the collaborative outdoors installation of artist-decorated doors-as-canvas started at The Umbrella Arts Center in the pandemic.
