The next planning meeting of the Concord Theater Festival will occur next Wednesday, the 3rd of April at 6pm. We have had some production management changes since our previous meeting and we need YOU if we are going to put on this Festival this year. We have a wonderful logo (Thank you Corinne Stanley). Don’t let the sun go down on the Fest!

Hello everyone!

Concord Theater Festival is looking for…

!!!MORE ART FOR MORE PEOPLE!!!

We are looking for submissions from interested persons or organizations:

Plays (any length or format- no restriction on content)
*Cabaret acts
*Singing/dancing acts
*Workshops/panels
*Basically anything you feel might fit a Festival format.
*Keeping in mind roughly an hour slot for non-play pieces.

Submission Requirements:
Please provide the type of Art and or the name of play, a script/an original work, a synopsis, and a list of description of the
characters. Please tell us about the director.

Submission Deadline: Submissions must be submitted by April, 15, 2024 at 12pm.

Types of work: All types of work considered. If it is a published
work, please make sure that the rights are available and provide
proof.

Length Requirements: One act, two acts (or more) will be considered.
Please know the likelihood of a multi-act play being selected
decreases with the number of submissions we receive.

Genre:All genres are considered. Placement in the festival schedule
will be determined by the expected audience size.

Number of Characters: Please limit the number of characters in your
submission to the number you feel you can reasonably cast.

Notification Process: It is our intention with this first iteration of the festival to not have stringent guidelines for selection. If there
is room in the festival schedule , there is a good chance you will have the opportunity to put on your play. While we do not plan to censor works and the bar for artistic freedom will be high, we reserve the right to not select the play if we feel it would be offensive or harmful to the community at large.
