We had a wonderful end to quarter 1 today, welcoming Dr. Jessica Lindsey and Dr. Ben Still from UNC Charlotte to our campus! They each made great connections with our clarinet and saxophone students and made it abundantly clear - music education is alive and well at Central Cabarrus!

Thank you both for the visit! We can't wait to bring in more clinicians and visitors as we look towards audition season and winter performances. đź’š

It’s a beautiful evening for a rehearsal!

Unfortunately, East Lincoln has made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s Carolina Classic due to the impending weather.

But there are still a few more opportunities to take the field this season, and these Vikings just keep getting better and better!

Evenings like this are what it’s all about, good music, hard work, and great friends. Building a community and continuing a legacy that lasts long after the final note.

Competition week is back! đź’šđź’›

The Marching Vikings are headed to the Carolina Classic at East Lincoln High School this Saturday!

This week, we’re posting some love for our woodwinds — because marching drill while playing an instrument with enough tiny keys to require an engineering degree deserves some recognition.

Performance time: 4:10 PM

Come cheer on the Marching Vikings!

It’s Charger Cup Weekend!

When One Door Closes will take the field Saturday at approximately 1:30pm at Cox Mill High School.

There’s potential rain in the forecast but Mother Nature should know better than to mess with Vikings.

Our forecast is predicting: Cloudy with a chance of brass 🎺

Come out and cheer them on!

What a day at the Hickory Ridge Festival of Bands!

There’s something special about competition days, meeting folks from other bands in the stands, cheering for students you don’t even know, and watching months of work turn music into something you can actually see.

We were grateful to be part of it and proud of our Marching Vikings for a great performance and a first-place finish in our class.

So much talent on that field! What a great day for marching band. If you haven’t had a chance to see the show “When One Door Closes” come out next week to the Cox Mill Charger Cup!
