During our unscheduled closing last year we found ourselves in the situation when in the process of moving things out, we were locked out of the building. We understood the position of the building owner and as sad and difficult as it was, we left the site, along with the core Camp H structures and accepted the end of Camp H Skatepark as we knew it. At the time of our closing, we had several individuals interested in our space which is the reason for this post.

To our surprise, we have been given the oportunity to enter our old Camp H location to remove the bowl and the street side ramps. We are asking anyone who is willing to help tear down and relocate or possibly is still interested in purchasing items, please meet us at our old location tmrw, Sunday July 16th, between 12-4. Thank you again for all of your continued kind words and love. It is apparent that Camp H still lives on if only in our memories. Peace.

Update: A meeting with the city rezoning happened yesterday. Just as we were informed at our initial closing meeting back in the Spring, a rezoning requires that the building be updated to be open to the public (which cost upwards to 20k).

One obstacle in front of us is that the building the park is in may be in the process of being sold. Updating the space for rezoning standards could be short lived if it does sell after our indoor season comes to a close and if new owners do allow us to remain a skatepark, our monthly rent will mostly likely be too high to be able to keep the park a viable business.

The way we see it our options are (1) find a new home with financing such as a gofundme page to acquire that new home; (2) find a storage facility for the bowl/ramps until a space can be found; (3) permanently close and be grateful for the time we shared building a beautiful skatepark and music community.. it was rad!

Camp H Skatepark is like that garage band your friends love but your neighbors detest. If we want to keep the park alive we need your help to bring it back. If you or you know someone that has a viable building/space please message us asap. If you would be interested in contributing financially to help find a space, we could set up a crowd funding site today. The time is now to help and money is sadly the only thing that can keep it going. Thank you all for your continued support and love in our absence. We truly appreciate our community. Peace.
