To all our wonderful customers. It is with a heavy heart that I have to post of our bingo closing. Due to lack of crowds on Sunday's the board shut us down and Westgate will not work with us. It's been great to get to know everyone...you've become our extended family. We never got a chance to say anything or put up a fight to try something new or start a new start time. It's hard to work with a board that makes decisions without input from the people that knows what's going on. Just like the saying goes...karma is a b***h and they'll find out just how big. I guess I'm disappointed with the board of a club I was so proud to be a part of, to put so many of years of hard work and diligence in to see this and many others things going on my pride is gone. Many prayers to everyone, I'm going to miss each and everyone of you.---Sue

HELP!!! We desperately need to have players on Sunday. We have been closed 4 weeks in a row due to low attendance. I talked to the bowling alley and they are seriously thinking of renting the room out on Saturday's and if they do that no bingo on Saturday's. Just a couple of questions....What do you think are the reasons no one wants to play bingo on Sunday's? Is it too late? Do you want line or corner's back on the specials? Do you want a certain pull tab back? We are thinking about changing two of the specials we are thinking instead of full card play large picture frame on one and four corner postage stamp on the other and it would be for the full amount....just make it so we can get out earlier. Please give us some feedback.... ---Sue

Well tomorrow is back to bingo....I missed you guys. It's going to be hard now that Jim is playing bingo at the BEST bingo hall where everyone's a winner. I'd like to share a couple of funny stories about Jim. Jim could be a bit cranky at times but he was diligent....he was at bingo every night. Jim and Gene became bingo buddies after Jim hit Gene's car in the parking lot. They would set next to each other on Sunday night and argue back and forth non stop. Only a couple of times did I have to say "ok you two that's enough".
Another story to tell. We usually have munchies for the
players. Jim always carried a blue plate with him and he would bring that plate with him every night. Going to miss his rare smiles.

It is with a sad and heavy heart I have to let our bingo family know that one of our players Jim Werner passed away July 7th. Jim was one of our most dedicated players. Jim was 83. I hope Jim is enjoying bingo in Heaven and may the balls be in his favor and I hope he has a golden dobber in his hand. God bless Jim and his family. We're going to miss him and his grumpy ways but when he smiled he had a beautiful smile. ---Sue

Thank you to all our bingo players and workers who join us each and every weekend. We would like to wish our players and workers a safe and fun memorial day. We hope you get to spend the day with loved one and friends. It's suppose to be warm and beautiful so enjoy the lovely weather.....we've waited for this weather for a long time. So buckle up and be safe. We want to see you back this coming up weekend.
