We have already had one challenge piece dropped off and it is amazing!
You still have time, drop off begins tomorrow, but we will accept entries until 15 September. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

🍏 Bois d’Arc Community Challenge – Official Rules 🍏

Show us your creativity and your love for the Bois d’Arc apple!

Challenge Requirements:
• Entry must be 12 inches finished (12” x 12”).
• Your piece must feature the Bois d’Arc apple in some way.
• Entries may be pieced, appliquéd, embroidered, quilted, knitted, crocheted, or mixed media.
• All entries must be fully finished—no raw edges or unfinished projects.
• Quilted pieces should be quilted and bound (or otherwise completely finished).
• Knitted and crocheted entries should include a border or finished edge to help maintain the required size and shape.

Submission Details:
📍 Drop off entries at Unraveled Stitchery, 1105 Main Street, Commerce, TX
📅 Entries will be accepted through August 31st.
• We will collect your contact information when you drop off your block.
• Blocks will be assigned a random number so that voting remains anonymous.
• You may enter more than one piece if you’d like!

Display & Voting:
• By entering, you agree to allow your piece to be displayed in our shop window and/or inside the store during the challenge period.
• Entries will be displayed beginning September 1st and remain on display through the Bois d’Arc Bash.
• Public voting will determine the winner, with entries identified only by their assigned number.
• Winners will be announced at the Bois d’Arc Bash.

After the Challenge:
• Entries may be picked up at Unraveled Stitchery after the winners are announced at the Bash.

Whether you sew, quilt, knit, crochet, embroider, or create in another fiber medium, we’d love to see your interpretation of the Bois d’Arc apple.
