NE WA Fair

The Colville Chamber of Commerce will be at this year's NE WA Fair, "Star, Stripes, and Fair Nights." We'll be selling $1.00 raffle tickets for a HUGE load of firewood, 6-7 cords- graciously donated by Vaagen Brothers Lumber. Wouldn't that be an amazing way to start the fall and winter seasons! We can't wait to see you at the NE WA Fair Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 27-30.

update on the NE WA FAIR: if you are a vendor or want to be in the parade or you are an exhibitor--YES you have time- email me at [email protected] for applications for vendor or parade. If you are an exhibitor the online entries are closed but you can stop by the lobby and register--or north 40 or the country store or the library--i can pre enter you and make it easier on everyone including you not waiting in a long line- If you think of entering something after that bring it with you on Tues Aug 25th adults noon to 7 kids 5-7 or Wed 8 to 11-- This is the 125th year of the Fair--it all started where the present airport is--make sure you come to the opening ceremony on thurs at 6 for the new royalty and Jono award- See less

Still time to get your still life entries in--the online will close but you can then do them on paper- if you need to you can always bring your entry with item for youth and adult on Tues Aug 25th noon to 7 for adults and 5-7 for youth or wednesday Aug 26th from 8 am to 11 am--but dont be late- i will post the schedule soon-

if you are trying to enter the NE WA Fair: here's some helpful tips--on paper, pick up a fair book at north 40, country store, library or the Fair lobby in the Ag and Trade building. Now since the animal registration is closed we will jump to the adults and kids- Adults are in the 300's and kids in the 400's. registration is in the back of the book- fill out the top and kids fill out the middle additionally- now pick out what you want to enter by scrolling thru the pages--lets say crafts- enter the depart number and then the class --now go find more to enter- if you go online go to stevens county and click on drop down menu of departments go down to the fairgrounds- click--now you can open the book and open online registration. If you entered an animal you can go back and add anything you want just not animals- you must create an account- please do it individually--under a club is confusing- pick out what you want to enter and just keep adding to your cart- i download daily --if there is a concern i can fix it- now bring your still life article on tues from noon to 5 for adults and 5-7 for youth- wed 26th 8 am to 11 am-doors close for judging- don't be late- now come thurs aug 27th for free and say thank you to Boise Cascade for paying your way- always call my office for help 509-684-2585

If you are entering the NE WA Fair for still life----the entry deadline is only a month away- please go online or grab a book at the flour mills, north 40, the colville library or the Fair lobby--the adults had a lot of changes that may or may not show up- most classes have been eliminated (works better for al the people in the barn)- so don't panic- we know what we are doing--so enter the kids and enter yourself--lets make the 125th year of the Fair a great one- here is the link for online:https://www.stevenscountywa.gov/.../northeast-washington...
