✨A WORLD PREMIERE MUSICAL IS COMING TO COLUMBUS ✨

We could have licensed another musical. Instead, we’re helping Nina West create one!

Introducing The You Kind of Kind: The Musical, a joyful new show based on Nina West’s critically acclaimed children’s book of the same title.

Filled with laughter, imagination, music, and a little glitter magic, this world premiere musical is being commissioned and developed by Columbus Children’s Theatre and will premiere in April 2027.

With music by Caleb Damschroder, lyrics by Caleb Damschroder and Nina West, and book by Eric Ulloa and Nina West, The You Kind of Kind is a brand-new theatrical adventure created right here in Columbus.

We’re collecting paint donations to bring our MASSIVE interactive structure to life at the Columbus Arts Festival where kids will get to paint, create, and transform it all weekend long!

Wall paint, acrylic bottles - anything fun, bright, and bold is welcome!

Drop off donations at the CCT offices, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.
