Family Theatre A non-profit theatre, founded in 1997, with the mission of presenting family-friendly entertainment.

Mission statement: Family Theatre’s mission is to present quality productions, promote Godly values, and prepare people for excellence in theatre and in life. So that we may effectively accomplish our mission, Family Theatre seeks to:

- provide a place for local actors, directors, musicians, choreographers, and technicians to hone their skills and gain valuable practical experience both

on and off stage.

- honor local artists by presenting original scripts.

- allow every interested person in our community an opportunity to be involved in the theatre, regardless of experience level.

- produce high quality performances for the audience to appreciate.

- instill confidence and build poise through participation in productions.

- create an environment in which every member of the community can feel comfortable and welcomed.

- challenge actors through setting high standards of performance, allowing them to achieve performances beyond their expectations.

Come cheer on the Clingstones while supporting Family Theatre on June 23rd with first pitch at 7:06 PM. The night will feature special performances by Family Theatre performers singing the National Anthem before the game!

Auditions for How Things Happen in Three will be held on May 26th at 6:30 PM!

Actors ages 8–18 are invited to audition. Please prepare:
• A 30-second monologue
• 16 bars of a Broadway-style song

📅 Rehearsals will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings.

🎟 Performance Dates:
• July 16, 17, 23 & 24 at 10:00 AM
• July 17, 18, 24 & 25 at 7:30 PM
• July 26 at 2:30 PM

Seven beloved stories are brought to life in a fast-paced musical comedy exploring the idea that “funny things happen in threes.” From nursery rhymes like The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the Three Bears to tales of wishes and wonder, each story reveals the playful pattern of three. With lively songs, humor, and audience participation, the show celebrates storytelling, curiosity, and the surprises that come in groups of three.

Family Theatre Presents Its 2026 Summer Production of How Things Happen in Three!

Join us for a fast-paced musical comedy filled with laughter, adventure, and beloved storybook characters! Directed by Cheryl Palmour, How Things Happen in Three! brings seven classic tales to life in a magical celebration of the number three.

From The Three Billy Goats Gruff outsmarting the ugly troll to Goldilocks discovering the home of the Three Bears, audiences will follow a whirlwind journey through favorite fairy tales, songs, and surprises. Along the way, three wishes are granted, lessons are learned, and the Big Bad Wolf makes a memorable appearance during a lively fair full of audience participation. Featuring energetic musical numbers, humor, and heart, this production showcases the talents of teen and children performers in a show the whole family will love.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (September 18 - 27) | Directed by Mikayla Miller Hutchinson
Step into the wit and romance of Pride and Prejudice, where sharp tongues and stronger hearts collide. Elizabeth Bennet navigates society’s expectations, family pressures, and her own first impressions as she encounters the enigmatic Mr. Darcy. Filled with humor, charm, and timeless insight into love and growth, this classic story reminds us that understanding often begins where pride ends.

Powerful, moving, and deeply human, And Then They Came for Me brings history to life through the real stories of young people who lived through the Holocaust. Full of holiday cheer and Parisian charm, Madeline’s Christmas is a delightful adventure for all ages. When Miss Clavel falls ill just before Christmas, brave little Madeline takes charge to save the holiday for her friends. AGATHA CHRISTIE'S THE SECRET ADVERSARY (February 12 - 21) | Directed by Ansley Barfield
