Our film festival will kick-off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the Wexner Center’s Film Video Theater, with a screening of Sundance award-winning film, I Didn’t See You There, produced by director Reid Davenport. The documentary showcases Davenport’s unflinching meditation on spectacle, (in)visibility, and the corrosive legacy of the Freak Show, spurred by a circus tent that goes up outside his Oakland apartment. Davenport will join after the screening via Zoom for a discussion following the film. We're having a second screening at 3:15 p.m. with open audio description for individuals with vision-related disabilities. We're so excited and can't wait to see you there!

RIP Susan Nussboum. Susan not only created an astonishing film, but participated in our film talk-back in our 20/21 ReelAbilities season. Sending love and peace to Susan’s family and friends.

Saddened to learn of the passing our good friend and filmmaker of our 2020 Opening Night Film : Susan Nussboum. Susan was a strong playwright and activist who pushed for better representation for and inclusion of disabled people in the media. Her hard work and powerful words are honorable and she will be greatly missed.

Susan expresses her hope on what audiences will take away from Code of the Freaks in ReelAbilities' post-film Q+A:
