Prodigy Dance Centre A holistic approach to dance from childhood to career. We accept students starting at the age of 3 years old all the way to adults.

For over a decade Prodigy Dance Centre, under the direction of Shane Hall & Curtis Cauthen, has given Columbus and the surrounding communities the highest quality dance training available. Through our progressive level training program, students of all ages have the opportunity to strengthen their bodies and minds as they grow to love the art of dance. From the very beginning Creative Movement cla

ss to the most advanced level dance classes, our students gain a solid understanding of proper technique and dance terminology. We offer classes specializing in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics and more! Our staff is highly trained in their specialized techniques in which they instruct and we are so proud and thankful to have each of them share their love and expertise with our students! Studies have found that dance training helps students to prepare to meet the challenges of their everyday lives such as: creative problem solving, discipline, concentration, respect and relationships with peers and classmates. Our curriculum fosters physical awareness and improves the student’s body carriage, poise, coordination, focus and appreciation for the art, while experiencing the sheer joy of movement and fun. For the serious dancer or for the student who dances for recreation, dance helps promote self confidence and leadership abilities and provides an excellent outlet for creativity. If you are a current student, we THANK YOU for dancing with us, and if you are a future student, we hope to meet you soon and hopefully start to dance with each of you as well!

Our competition team took off to Atlanta, Ga this past weekend and trained under the finest industry educators and choreographers! It was great to be in such an inspiring environment with so many other amazing dancers and studios! What a great way to kick off our season! Drumroll please ….. and here they are, our Young Elsa (McKenna Bradley) and Young Anna (Emmalynn Wunderle) have been cast! They will take the stage in May alongside the rest of our full cast in our production of FROZEN ~ Into The Prodigy Unknown ❄️❄️❄️ as the young princesses we know and love! We are so excited for these two young performers! ✨✨✨

🎶 For the first time in FoReVeR (or EVER!) Prodigy and Director, Curtis Cauthen held auditions for featured title roles in our upcoming production FROZEN ~ Into The Prodigy Unknown! ❄️❄️❄️All of these beautiful, young performers auditioned for the roles of Young Elsa and Young Anna! They were all SPECTACULAR 🤩 This casting will not be easy as they were all so great and brought so much MAGIC ✨ to the roles while auditioning! Teaching them more about how to audition and learning to support and cheer each other on was so vital and the energy during the process was amazing! CONGRATULATIONS to you all for even being courageous enough to audition!
