I think this is the part of entrepreneurship we don’t talk about enough.
The waiting.
The uncertainty.
The shifting timelines.
The moments when you’re trying to stay excited about something you’ve dreamed about for years… while simultaneously being exhausted by the process of getting there.
My bags were supposed to be finished at the end of July. We’re now well beyond that, and while production is moving forward, the process has taken much longer than I was originally told it would.
And if I’m being real… I’m frustrated.
I’ve even found myself losing some of the excitement I had about receiving them. And that’s hard to admit because I’ve dreamed about this moment for YEARS.
But I’m learning that two things can be true at the same time:
I can be frustrated with the process AND still believe in the dream.
I can be disappointed AND still keep going.
I can be tired of waiting AND still know that what I’m building is worth it.
So while I wait, I’m still working. Still preparing. Still learning. Still building.
And when those bags finally get here, I know there will be a whole lot to celebrate.
For everyone who has been following this journey, especially those who trusted me enough to preorder before the bags even existed…
