Today we proudly present our 21st Annual Dance Recital, Hidden Happiness! After months of hard work, rehearsals, and dedication, it's finally time to celebrate our incredible dancers.

Arrive between 8:00–8:30 AM
Studio warm-up on stage from 8:30–8:45 AM

Arrive between 11:00–11:30 AM
Studio warm-up on stage from 11:30–11:45 AM

Arrive between 1:30–2:00 PM
Studio warm-up on stage from 2:00–2:15 PM

💙 IMPORTANT REMINDERS

**all dancers will be wearing black leggings for production with their recital tshirt

• Dancers must enter through the front entrance and check in at the table located on the left side of the auditorium.
• Arrive dressed in your first costume with hair and makeup complete.
• Hair should be a middle part with a low bun unless otherwise instructed by your teacher.
• Please ensure all costumes, shoes, tights, and accessories are clearly labeled with your dancer's name.
• Costume bags should include your dancer's name, class name, and performance number to assist our volunteers.
• Bring clear drinks and non-messy snacks. Please remember we are a nut-free studio.
• An oversized button-up or old shirt makes a great costume cover-up while waiting.
• A garment bag or duffel bag is the best way to keep everything organized.

💐 Flowers will be available for purchase today for $20 and programs may be picked up at the ticket booth in the front lobby.

📸 Please remember there is NO flash photography or videotaping during performances. Mixer L.L.C. will be professionally recording the recital.

💙 To our parents and families—thank you for trusting us with your children and for supporting them every step of the way.

💙 To our volunteers—thank you for helping keep our dancers safe and making this day possible.

Please be patient during check-out as it may take a few extra minutes for volunteers to gather dancers and their belongings. Dancers will only be released to a parent unless alternate arrangements have been made at check-in.

Most importantly, enjoy every moment. These memories will last a lifetime.

🎭 IT'S DRESS REHEARSAL DAY! 🎭

Today we step onto the stage and begin bringing Hidden Happiness to life! We can't wait to see all of our dancers shine.

⭐ Competitive Showcase Rehearsal
12:00 PM–2:30 PM
Production will run promptly at 12:15 PM.
All competitive dancers must attend rehearsal for both Show 1 and Show 2 Production numbers.

Students may leave once their final dance is complete.

🩰 REMINDERS

• Arrive dressed in your FIRST costume.
• Bring labeled costume bags for dancers with multiple dances.
• Pack nut-free snacks and drinks.
• Please send a cover-up shirt to protect costumes while eating.
• Be patient as we work through lights, sound, and stage spacing for the first time.
• Hair should be a middle part with a low bun unless your teacher has given different instructions.
• No recital tickets will be sold at rehearsal or recital.
• Flowers will be available on recital day for $20 each.
• Recital T-shirts, medals, and certificates can be picked up at the front of the stage today.

⚠️ Production dancers should wear the 2026 recital T-shirt with black leggings for recital day only. Recital T-shirts WILL NOT be worn for dress rehearsal.

Tonight we'll finish rehearsal, and tomorrow we'll celebrate all that these dancers have accomplished.

🎭 Friday June 19th-DRESS REHEARSAL REMINDERS 🎭

Our recital weekend is almost here, and we are so excited to celebrate our 21st Annual Recital, Hidden Happiness!

Please remember that Dress Rehearsal is mandatory. Rehearsal is our final practice before the show and gives dancers the opportunity to work with stage lights, sound, and spacing. Any dancer who misses rehearsal or has an outstanding balance without payment arrangements made will not be permitted to perform.

✨ IMPORTANT REMINDERS ✨

• Please arrive dressed in your FIRST costume with hair and makeup complete.
• Dress rehearsal is a FULL dress rehearsal—costumes, hair, and makeup are required.
• Production is the FINAL dance on recital day for all shows. We will be practicing it first to allow people to leave rehearsal once they are done dancing. Production attire: recital tshirt picked up at rehearsal and black bottoms. Note: for production dress rehearsal you may wear your first costume.
• Any dancer with multiple costumes must bring them in a garment bag with everything clearly labeled (costumes, shoes, tights, accessories, etc.).

⭐ If your dancer has a quick change (four or fewer numbers between dances), please indicate that on the tag.

🥨 Snacks & Drinks
If you send snacks or drinks, please send a cover-up shirt to protect costumes. An oversized button-up or dad's old shirt works great! Bottled water will be available backstage for dancers.

🚫 NUT-FREE REMINDER
Please do not send any foods containing nuts. We have dancers with severe nut allergies, and their safety is our top priority.

📖 If you haven't already, please take time to review the Rehearsal/Recital Packet emailed on June 15th. There is a lot of important information included. Remember:

📅 TWO DAYS BEFORE DRESS REHEARSAL
✨ The countdown is on! ✨

As we prepare for an incredible weekend, we want to thank every dance family for another amazing season. This recital is more than performances—it’s memories, friendships, growth, and the joy that dance brings to so many lives.

A few reminders:

💙 Label ALL costumes, shoes, tights, and accessories. Don’t forget your shoes at the studio!
💙 Female dancers should have a middle part with a low bun (Pre-K dancers simply need hair pulled away from their faces).
💙 Tickets must be purchased in advance.
💙 Programs will be available for pickup in the lobby on recital day.
💙 Recital flowers will be available for purchase.

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you as we discover the hidden happiness found through dance, friendship, and family.

⭐️SENIOR WEEK⭐️

As the season comes to an end, we want to celebrate the seniors who helped lead the way and make the team what it is today💜

~Introducing Emily Polzin~
Born the youngest of four, I have literally spent my entire life in a dance studio. I spent countless hours waiting while my sisters danced, until it was finally my turn and I started taking classes at the age of 3. In 2016, I found my dance home at Leap of Faith. It really is a second home. When the worst happened, my dance family surrounded me with love and support. Everyone went above and beyond for my family and I, and it is something that I always will remember. This year I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lighthouse Connection Academy. I plan on continuing my education at Macomb Community College in the fall and all of the lessons I learned at dance, like commitment and perseverance, will help me be successful.

~Introducing Natalie Rhodes-Blake~
Natalie graduated from Armada High School. She has been dancing for 12 years at Leap of Faith. She has also been an active member of the National Honor Society, Civics, and Marching Band as Colorguard Captain. After graduation, Natalie will be attending Wayne State, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice. She is pursuing a career as a Criminal Psychologist.

~Introducing Alexis Sisco-
I recently graduated from Richmond High School, and in the fall, I will be attending the University of Michigan to study elementary education. This is my eighth year dancing and fourth year competing at Leap of Faith. The memories I have made here are something I will always cherish. This studio has become my family, and I am so grateful for everyone who has made my time here so special. I will miss all of my teachers and my teammates; nevertheless, I am still excited for what is to come. The lessons I have learned and the bonds I have built are something I will forever hold in my heart. I love you all so much! 💜💜💜
