We had a great time at the 5th Annual Greater Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival opening event today. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us! 🌸 Tomorrow is Cherry Blossom Day at the Franklin Park Conservatory. Our group will perform at 1pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

We’re excited to share that our new custom‑made matching kimono have finally arrived from Tokushima, Japan — the home of Awa Odori! We’ve been preparing for this since last year so they would arrive in time for this event.

We’ll be wearing them at the Greater Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival Main Celebration Day this weekend🌸

Thank you again, International Voluntary Organizations -IVO, for your support.

Also thanks to Columbus Kimono for providing the kitsuke and most of our dressing supplies! We are so grateful for your help in getting us festival-ready.

阿波踊りの本場・日本の徳島より、オーダーメイドの新しい着物がついに届きました！このイベントに間に合うように、去年から準備を進めてきました。今週末の桜祭りでは、この着物を着て踊らせていただきます。

ご支援いただいた IVO の皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。

Our usual “Yattosa~” finale turned into our biggest one ever! A full-on chorus - it was amazing!! 3月のワークショップにはたくさんの方にご参加いただき、いつもの締めのヤットサ〜がとっても賑やかに！最高の時間になりました✨

Thanks so much for joining us! 🎉 We had our biggest workshop yet and such an amazing time together. We’re also grateful to the Yokoso Center for providing a space that supports our mission to share Awa Odori in our community.

Our summer workshop series kicks off in June—stay tuned!
