This is why I decided to get into the performing arts for children! Exposed to the arts, there is nothing that is not possible for our children. Their response is so basic, so natural, I can't imagine childhood without the exposure to the arts!

This is why we need art in our schools.

30 years in the entertainment industry and I failed this high frequency test. Further in the article there is a High Freqqency Hearing Test. I could hear 8 kHz and 10kHz, but not 12kHz. See you you do!

Ever wonder how Fogg Entertainment got started 30 years ago?
Linda Fogg started out representing her brother, Ray Fogg! Ray played the college circuit for years, doing his one-man rock show. In the early 80's Ray was one of the first to use sequencing. Linda had a tough time back then trying to explain sequencing and that he wasn't playing to "taped" music. Sequencing is something we all take for granted now. Wonder what Ray's doing now? He's a Put'n'Bay performer, performing at the Boathouse. In the off season he performs in Key West, New Orleans, among others. Blessid Union of Souls released "I Believe" on their debut album HOME in 1994 and in 1995 it shot to #1. ASCAP awarded BUOS and "I Believe" as the 4th most song played in 1994 and it made the list of the Top 50 songs on the 1990's! It amazing how many people this song as touched and the number of nusicians to cover this amazing song! Eliot Sloan, lead singer and principal songwriter for BUOS often shares, "That God gave him this amazing song to sing for the rest of his life." We're all blessed to be able to continue to hear not only Eliot, but other sing this beautiful song!

Blessid Union of Souls is available for electric, acoustic and Christian shows! And, yes all the shows include their 20 Top Hits including "Hey Leonardo (she likes me for me)" and their smash #1 hit "I Believe". Looks like they've got another hit song to add to their ever growing list!

My brother Ray Fogg was the start of my involvement with NACA 30 years ago!! He's still performing! If you happen to be out on Put in Bay in Lake Erie over the summer, be sure to check out his show!!

This is a big season at Put-in-Bay! That's right...this will be the 200th Anniversary of Oliver Hazard Perry at PIB as well as the 25th Anniversary of Ray Fogg performing at PIB! And I'm ready to get the main part of the season started!

I hope you'll join me season opener at The Boathouse Bar & Grill this Saturday at 7:00 pm. I have really enjoyed my first few seasons at The Boathouse. The staff is always fun and willing to be part of the show. It really makes it a blast! After the season opener this Saturday, I'll be at the Boathouse every weekend through about mid-October. Most weekends I will be there two nights per week (either Friday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday - so check the web site). We will also have a special show on Wednesday, July 3rd (4th of July Eve).

In addition, I will be emceeing some very special events there such as the Bike Week Tattoo Contest, the Pirate Fest Pyrate's Ball and a few more! The Boathouse has added some new stuff to their menu too. So, plan on starting your island night with dinner and The Ray Fogg Show at 7pm each weekend (or forget dinner and just go with the liquid stuff if you'd rather).
