The award-winning Columbus Indiana Philharmonic is excited to be celebrating 40 seasons! Cabaret shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

The award-winning Columbus Indiana Philharmonic presents their 36th Season, Meastro: Passing the Baton. We are interviewing 6 Candidates from around the world to be the CIP's Music Conductor/Director

The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic provides music education programs in 11 area schools and private music instruction at the 315 Franklin Street location. Annual strings and choral camps, and the Phil

harmonic Youth Orchestra and Children's Choir offer an opportunity for area youth to participate in a variety of music programs. Working in partnership with Indianapolis' The Cabaret, the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic will continue to bring a series of Cabaret shows to Columbus during the 2021-2022 Cabaret Season. at The Commons in the Arts and Entertainment District in downtown Columbus. The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic is a public, not-for-profit organization supported by private donations and the Columbus Area Arts Council. Programming is made possible by the support of the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

❤️We wanted to share a post from our Principal Trumpet player, Eric Rodriguez

It’s been a very long 36 hours which resulted in an emergency surgery in the end.
Introducing our son Terry Alexander Rodriguez. Born this morning, Thursday, September 3rd, 2026 at 1:55 AM, weighing 5lbs 10oz, 19 1/2 inches long.
We are truly blessed. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who helped make this process happen so smoothly. Thank you to our friends and family who have been involved and supporting through the process. We are truly thankful and blessed beyond measure. My wife in particular, was incredible and inspirational through this process.

✨We are very excited to "Play it Forward" through your generosity in this, our 40th anniversary season❤️

Our goal over 5 concerts, 6 cabaret performances, and 6 jazz shows is securing $130,000 in sponsorships, covering half of the projected cost. We are halfway there!

Bringing talented performers to Columbus is just the start. We were thrilled last year, with your support, to also provide:

-A record $17,165 in financial aid to 146 of our youth music students.
-575 free tickets (10% of all tickets) to the community, including to our partners at Foundation For Youth and Columbus Regional Health.
