’s new performance piece “you and everyone you love will someday die” will premiere March 29 at 6:30pm at (tickets available in our comments)

It’s an indie pop meets performance art experience exploring religion, autonomy, and what you lose when you leave. It’s equal parts concert and testimony — songs woven together with performance art that sits inside the tension of religious trauma without trying to resolve it.

Happy New Years to you and yours 🎶 we’ve been so grateful to share this season with you.

2016 will be our TENTH anniversary year (our concept was created at a New Years Eve party, in fact). Born from a conversation between and that included dreams of adventurous programming, accessibility, and creating a new standard for audience experience in classical music.

10 years later, we’re still kickin’ and dreaming of new and exciting programming to bring to your ears. Thanks for tagging along, we can’t wait to share what’s next ♥️

inter/cepted: a cocktail pairing with this Sunday! Dec 14 at 6pm. Tickets at the link in our bio ✨

We’re back at Seventh Son Brewing for one of our favorite collaborations of the year. Our cocktail pairing concert is a night where music, storytelling, and mixology meet. Each program features original cocktails crafted by Seventh Son’s baristas, designed to mirror the character, color, and emotion of the music performed.

Between each piece, the musicians share insights into the composers’ inspirations and their own creative process, inviting the audience to experience the music through taste, sound, and conversation. The result is an evening that feels alive, spontaneous, and joyfully communal.

Your musician’s for Sunday’s inter/cepted Cocktail Pairing with Seventh Son Brewing!

Devin Copfer (she/her) is the Co-Founder and Director of Chamber Brews, a dynamic new music ensemble; known for multi-genre collaborations with outstanding artists, designing unique and interactive programming, and celebrating new music. She currently sits on the advisory board of the Johnstone Fund for New Music, serves as Concertmaster of the Worthington Chamber Orchestra, arranges and performs in electrified violin pop duo, Devi & Liz, and serves as Concertmaster for America’s Fleetwood Mac Experience, Fleetwood Gold.

Violinist and Pianist Anita Chiu (she/her)is a native of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. At age 4, she began studying the piano and the violin. She served as concertmaster at National FHSH symphony orchestra, NTUA symphony orchestra, BG Sinfonietta, BGSU Philharmonia, and the OSU Symphony Orchestra, Opera Columbus, and many others.

Daniel Jacobs (he/him) is a teaching artist, violist, and conductor. As an educator, Daniel was a conductor and teaching artist for Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA). He has conducted youth ensembles at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, and other venues across the country. Daniel has been a guest speaker at El Sistema World Congress, YOLA National Symposium, and LAUSD focusing on teaching artistry, community collaboration, and activating artistry.

Sam Johnson (he/they) is a cellist living and performing in Columbus, Ohio. Sam teaches a brilliant studio of cello players, meeting every week for private lessons and mentorship. Every month they meet as a studio for group performance classes. Sam composes and records strings parts for the studio albums of bands and songwriters. Sam designs programming and performa cello with Chamber Brews, a chamber music series that centers connection and care for audience members in programming new and old music. And lastly, Sam performs and writes cello parts for Sweet Teeth, a mathy electronic pop duo featuring him and his sibling, Stewart. Sweet Teeth released their fourth album “Body Weather” in March 2022.
