Born in Dayton, Ohio, DJ Venus grew up in the 80's with all it's glitz and glamour. DJ Venus' career as a DJ began in 2000 when he first came out to the gay scene. After months of fine tuning and learning the ropes of the scene, a very young DJ did guests spots and then regularly appeared at Jessie's Celebrity. He remained with Celebrity as their Resident DJ from 2000 until it's close in early 200

6. In early 2007, DJ Venus' year was brought in with a bang as he was named "DJ of the Year" at the annual Masquie Awards at Club Masque in Dayton, Ohio. In 2009 he then became Resident DJ of Exile Bar in Columbus, Ohio and in 2012 was voted Columbus' Coldest DJ for Gaycities.com & MillerCoors. After Exile closed in 2016, he took a year off and then started working larger venues and events to this day. He's also had the honor to work with many celebrities such as Deborah Cox, Inaya Day, Amber, and many more.

As I understand the purpose of what this ad was originally supposed to do for the average person who doesn't know jack about graphic design, and I'm sure my opinion will be unpopular to the ones that use it the most but IMO, I will always think a flyer that looks like or resembles this in any way is just sloppy and trash.

Take the time to have someone make you a decent advertisement that reflects your brand or take the time to learn simple design so you don't get overshadowed in the noise. I'd rather see a cheaply designed ad than one with zero effort... 🤷🏽‍♂️

THIS! We have a LONG way to go that's for sure. And it doesn't help that the generation who has the hardest time is teaching their children and children's children how to be just as hateful and bigoted.

When do we break this vicious cycle and realize that if that b*tch in the corner identifies as a tree, well be the fiercest tree in the room and let them work, they aren't harming anything except your fragile ego of what society thinks we should all conform to.

People are so concerned about what others are doing and should be worried about their own house. Because if history has proven anything time again, the one who screams the F word the loudest usually is the first to let a dude go down on him the "because it ain't gay if I'm receiving".

It's 2026 people, we should start acting like it!
