In order to do this an army of clones were created in Anna's image, The Annadroids. Anna & The Annadroids present innovative performance art using multi-media technologies, wacky costume design, and emotionally provocative themes that explore the human condition. Innovative dance, aerial performance, original music, video environments, amazing costumes come together to create a commentary on young women, pop culture, and (usually dysfunctional) relationships.

Be My Obsession

This is not romance perfectly wrapped in red ribbon.
This is raw, sensual and dripping with desire.

We have 4️⃣ brand new dances and several new aerial acts. Movement that seeps under your skin and doesn’t ask permission to stay. The choreography is deeper, sharper, more consuming than ever. The aerials hover between control and surrender. You won’t look away. You won’t want to.

There is no safer place to lose yourself.
No better place to declare devotion to yourself or another.

Chair dance has become a recognizable staple of The Annadroids repertoire. I remember choreographing our first chair dance in 2015 and realizing how much was possible on the chair, we instantly fell in love with dancing on it and have created so many chair dances since then. This season, I’m choreographing several new dance works, including a new chair dance (or two!) and we are all very excited to be pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The Annadroids (est. 2005) is holding auditions! I’m excited to begin work on new projects this year and am looking for contemporary-trained dancers interested in creative collaboration and performance opportunities. Performances are paid. Audition will take place Intuit on Sunday, Jan 25th from 3-5 pm. Please RSVP and send resume to Anna. We can’t wait to meet you!
