• My name is Mikayla Raquel & im a self taught artist from Columbus, GA

• I started off mostly painting, however, i decided to give charcoal a go during Covid

• I have 3 pets; 2 dogs and a little rat

• im learning new skills every day… most important thing i have learned so far is that reference photos MATTER 😂

• I hyper fixate on one song while i draw…& i literally listen to it on repeat during the whole session - currently its “To Build a Home by The Cinematic Orchestra”

• most of the time when i draw the top portion of my piece, i do it upside down lol….
