Mark your calendars! The dates for the 2026 Ohio Star Ball are November 17–22, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio.

We are already gearing up to welcome our incredible Pro/Am community back to the floor. This year’s event is going to be spectacular, featuring the Grand Finale of the World Pro-Am DanceSport Series, the prestigious Best of the Best, and the Fordney Foundation Circuit.

Our organizer, Sam Sodano, wants to extend a warm personal invitation to every dancer, teacher, and spectator: make your plans to join us for an unforgettable week of dancing, community, and inspiration. We can’t wait to see you there!

Dear Competitors, Teachers, Judges, and Team Members,

As we celebrate this Thanksgiving weekend, I find myself filled with gratitude, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you—for your enthusiasm for Ballroom Dance and your unwavering support for the Ohio Star Ball.

Every year, I am deeply moved by the commitment and passion that each of you contributes to the art of Ballroom Dance—and particularly to your steadfast loyalty to the Ohio Star Ball. This event thrives because of you, our incredible competitors, ranging from professionals to amateurs, along with their dedicated teachers, and the judges and scrutineers who offer their expertise with such thoughtfulness. Together, you embody the spirit and significance that make this event truly exceptional.

This year marks the 47th anniversary of Ohio Star Ball, and I want to highlight those who work diligently behind the scenes. Months before the first dancer steps onto the floor, our remarkable team is busy planning, organizing, and refining every detail to ensure that every aspect of this event unfolds seamlessly. While my name may be linked to the Ohio Star Ball, it is the hard work, commitment, and steadfast support of this team that creates a memorable experience for everyone who joins us.
