So just an update on this project... preproduction is complete and we're just awaiting all of the mixing and mastering now. It's taking a bit longer than expected but I'm eager to hear this and share it out with everyone. Thanks for everyone who continues to stay on this musical journey with me. Happy Memorial Day.

I've created a lyric video for a demo off of the record. This song is called Rallycry. I hope you enjoy it. Please consider supporting the construction of this record if you're able at https://www.gofundme.com/theres-a-better-world-ahead

This is the lyric video for the demo version of Rallycry. I'm raising funds on GoFundMe to produce the full record right now and would appreciate any and all...

Thank you so much to our friends Andrew Sansom and Erin Sansom for their generous donation to support the production of my record! With that we are just shy of 25% of our goal now (including a couple not accounted for on GFM). Every $5, $50, $150 goes to helping this little dream come true. Thanks to everyone for giving it a shot. I continue to develop these songs and they're really coming together. On a dark day like today, it reminds me of the power of togetherness and positivity. Like I heard earlier on a podcast... Tomorrow hasn't happened yet and we can still have a hand in changing it... What a cool thought...

Two more donations to our GoFundMe today, bringing the official total up to $450 out of the end goal of $3000 raised so far. Thank you to my cousin and frequent music co-collaborator Todd for your generous donation and also for a person for their anonymous donation today. Every dollar counts in working towards that end goal. It takes a lot to put it out there and having you all to back this up and validate this effort means a lot. Thank you so very much! The link for the GoFundMe is here if anyone else is interested in helping...

Time for another new video with a new song share. Here's one with a demo of a song "Rally Song" that reflects on "No Kings" and celebrates that we are a nation where we each are free to vote, make choices, and have independent thought. Hope you all enjoy the new song demo/sample. For donations to help make this record happen, please check out https://www.gofundme.com/f/theres-a-better-world-ahead

Over a week in and here we are! For reference, here's where I've recorded these songs. It's the dank corner of the basement. Thankfully there's a space heater and a blanket for the dogs 🙂 And yes, that is an ice tray for different picks...for different applications. lol. Thank you once again to everyone who helped to make the transition to GoFundMe seamless. I know that was a bit clunky but it will help make everything smoother for sure. If anyone is interested in helping who has yet to donate, that's totally appreciated and that can be done here. https://www.gofundme.com/f/theres-a-better-world-ahead

I continue to be humbled and thankful for pledges to this music project. One shift - I've shifted from kickstarter to GoFundMe. If you've pledged on Kickstarter, I will message you and cancel that pledge momentarily with a note (and will honor any previous commitments on my end). GFM will be much easier to manage. Our due date and goal is still the same - nothing has really changed outside of the all-or-nothing-ness of it and they also take less of a cut which is kind of nice. We are at $665 so far pleged. Thank you to Katie Linn, my fellow musician and neighbor, for your kind pledge. I am lucky to be in community with such good people. More news to come soon.

$645 out of a $3000 now with 7 days under our belt. I feel so lucky to have such supportive friends and family. Thank you so much to Adam Glass for your friendship and support in helping this project get off the ground! And thank you to everyone else sharing this project link out, everyone else who is praying and offering well wishes and positivity, and positive vibes. There is a lot of positivity around this whole thing and that is the point of this whole project - energy, togetherness, and unbridled optimism for the future. Please consider supporting this project with anything you may feel called to give - small or big contributions, positivity, shares, whatever. It's all appreciated and I'm grateful.

So humbled to be at $545 of the goal so far, one week in with 45 days left. Small contributions, big contributions… they all go to making this dream a reality.
