I got a jump start on the birth flower for October while my marigolds were still looking fresh outside. Marigolds have been linked to optimism, prosperity, cheer, and joy, as well as death and grief. They are often used during celebrations of Día De Los Mu***os to create a path from the front door of the home to the ofrenda inside celebrating lost loved ones.
