Nostalgia is something I cherish.
I can’t help but feel that with this painting for my grandma Margie. I’m taken back to the warm summer days playing in the lake with my cousins, running upstairs, boat rides, and big family gatherings. The cottage was a special place for all of us.
I’m named after my Great Grandma Tess who owned the cottage at Buckeye Lake and I couldn’t be more proud to carry her name.

Starting the year off with commissions feels so good! Although a little stressful working on the throughout the holiday season, I was glad to see these works come to life for my client. These each are going to the new homes of his daughters featuring some cute corgis of one and adorable cats of the other. Can’t wait to see the next commissions of the year come to life!
