Art lately has been more about the feeling while creating. Just enjoying the act of sketching, painting, and the last bits of summer. There are new ones coming soon they’re just still on the easel because right now it’s time to discover the mess and beauty…

Follow along to discover it yourself and if you’d like to read a bit about it every month follow my new Substack publication The Mess & Beauty ✨

A little about me…
• mess and beauty always go hand in hand for me, in life and art
• I’m an artist local to and living in Columbus, Ohio
• my life is currently Kyle, cats, coffee & work

I don’t have a particular focus right now and I’m kinda loving it. I’m working on a little bit of everything from landscapes and pet portraits to abstract paintings like this^^ My work is about how it makes you feel and how it connects to the human experience. Not necessarily the subject! Follow along to learn more about my work and find a little less and beauty! ✨

I’ve wanted to host a workshop for a long time…
But I was afraid of making mistakes or stumbling over words. Anxiety took over and I pushed it off. Ever since I have still wanted to share the mess and beauty of painting with more people. So I’m diving in now! My first one was just me and the lake but it gave me the chance to learn how to set up for the next one I’m hosting August 9th 10a-1p at Alum Creek State Park Beach! Same place, new day! Join me in creating a little mess and beauty if you can! Register for the No-Wake Watercolor workshop on my Online Art Shop 🎨✨

One of my recent commissions ✨
The love we have for our pets is kind of indescribable, that’s why making these pet portraits is so fulfilling. Have you been looking for a way to show your love for your pet or memorialize a pet who’s passed away? Commission a pet portrait of your furry companions as a forever keepsake 💕

The day is here! Show up within the next hour to still claim a spot and register in person if needed 💕 $35 per person for the No Wake Watercolor Workshop! Take the first parking lot entrance and head out to the picnic bench in front of the water.

Nostalgia is something I cherish.
I can’t help but feel that with this painting for my grandma Margie. I’m taken back to the warm summer days playing in the lake with my cousins, running upstairs, boat rides, and big family gatherings. The cottage was a special place for all of us.
I’m named after my Great Grandma Tess who owned the cottage at Buckeye Lake and I couldn’t be more proud to carry her name.
