We’re excited to welcome Dr. Nick Beltchev to The Ohio State University School of Music as our new Visiting Assistant Professor of Tuba and Euphonium!

Dr. Beltchev received his Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Music from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan.

Clara Rudy from Grove City, OH, graduated with a BM in Piano Performance and a BS in Economics! She will be starting her master’s in piano performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music this fall! Her advice to future students: "Take advantage of all the resources a big university provides! If you’re interested in a topic outside of music, use a GE to explore it. You might end up finding another subject you’re passionate about that overlaps with music in an unexpected way."
