This season, approximately 5,400 audience members and over 1,000 students experienced theatre with The Contemporary—and together, we hosted 25 community engagement events across Central Ohio.

Thank you to our subscribers, donors, artists, educators, students, volunteers, and community partners for helping us build empathy, spark conversation, and create meaningful connection through live theatre. In a world that can feel disconnected, this community means everything.

The impact of theatre doesn’t end when the curtain falls. It lives on in the conversations sparked in the lobby, the confidence built in a classroom, the empathy shared between strangers, and the community we continue to build together.

Get ready for a summer full of theatre fun!

At our exciting Summer Theatre Mini Camps, students ages 5-7 will learn about the world of theatre through fun and creative activities. Each day will introduce a different aspect of theatre, including improv games, exploring costumes and props, creating their own short plays, and more!

We offer two different options to fit your schedule-- the morning session (9:30-11:30 AM) or the afternoon session (12:30-2:30 PM). The Summer Theatre Mini-Camps run June 29 - July 3, 2026 at the Riffe Center Theatres.
