Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the decision to postpone Overnight Brew’s upcoming theatre workshop that was scheduled for April 10th. We are currently working on rescheduling the workshop to ensure that it can still take place at a later date in 2024, so please continue to follow our social media channels for further details on the new workshop dates.

Imagine our festival as a type of relay: once one workshop is finished, work is passed on and the next one starts. Playwrights pass scripts to Directors and Actors; Directors pass technical needs to the Event Coordinators, and so on. While the entire event happens in a 24-hour period, an individual artist’s time commitment is dictated by the workshop in which they’re participating. At the end, all of our work will come together and we will have built an original production through the spark of creation and the power of teamwork. So, what’s stopping you? Come create live performance art in Overnight Brew: the 24-Hour Theatre Festival!

Several years are dedicated to staging an original production on Broadway; for regional theaters, show production schedules are between just 4 and 6 months! And at the center of it all is our passion for the art we call theatre. Overnight Brew wants you to share in that passion for theatre by producing an audience-ready performance in just a 24-hour period. It’s our goal to help our participating artists move forward with confidence in their ability to create theatre all their own, no matter the timeline.”
