Kat Ferensen of CrystalKat is a Columbus born and raised artist who currently resides in Clintonville. She loves to explore many art forms but her heart is pulled to metalsmithing where she creates jewelry with various metals and crystals. "I love creating pieces with lots of meaning, intention, and symbolism. I'm often inspired by nature, the human spirit, and of course crystals".

"Equality, to me, simply means fairness, everyone gets a fair shot. Treating everyone the same no matter their skin color, beliefs, gender, or sexual preferences."

Today's next artist spotlight goes to Nicole Coleman of elocin photographic 🌈. Nicole is a Columbus, Ohio based photographer specializing in fashion, editorial, and conceptual photography.
"I am either BiSexual or I like asparagus and am an ally. Only time will tell. (No one likes asparagus)."
She loves art and defines equality as, "Equal access. Like, actual equal access, with no one being able to use someone's age, orientation, marital status, religion, etc as a thinly veiled attempt at keeping someone else's pursuit of happiness held down."
