SCAM WARNING 📣

We have recently been made aware of someone posing as a Shaggy INKS artist and attempting to collect deposits from clients.

Please protect yourself and verify who you're speaking with before sending any money.

A few things to know:

-Deposits should only be sent directly to the artist you are booking with or submitted via Porter or GlossGenius
-Most of our artists accept multiple payment methods and will never pressure you into a specific payment app
-Be cautious of anyone insisting that deposits must be sent immediately or only through a certain online payment method - if you're unsure, ALL of our artists accept cash deposits at the shop!
-Verify that you're communicating through our official Shaggy INKS page or an artist's verified profile.
-If something feels off, contact the shop directly before sending any money.

Unfortunately, scammers target tattoo clients because deposits are common in our industry. We would much rather answer a quick message and verify an artist than see someone lose their hard-earned money!!

If you have any questions about whether a message, profile, or payment request is legitimate, please reach out to us directly.

It’s not every day that I get to tattoo someone’s furry friend on them. I was trusted to tattoo this photo of a good friends dog and I love it. 🙏
