The Returning Artists Guild is always looking for more currently and formerly incarcerated artists (of all disciplines) to join our ranks. WE LOVE TO PARTNER with communities, organizations and artists who share our values and want to contribute to the movement to end mass incarceration.

Imagining Abolition: Blood, Sweat, and Tears Too/State Blues

Access to continuing education, professional development, and creative skill-building are the keys to sustaining a creative practice during and beyond the physical confinement of incarceration.

Our community does not get to determine the meaning of a lifetime membership to the disenfranchisement of a felony, we live with it, and we make art about it, and work around the barriers… together.
