Okay fellow dyers, help a du***ss out 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I, a person who literally DYES CLOTHES, somehow ordered a bunch of black dresses without checking the fiber content first. They're over 90% polyester. 🤡

And it gets better. I thought I only had 6 of them.

Nope. I have TWELVE. 😂😭

So now it's me vs. 12 stupid black polyester dresses and I refuse to let them win.

Has anyone found something that works on black polyester — fabric pigments, paints, whatever — that stays SOFT, holds up to washing and is something you'd actually feel comfortable selling?

Mac & cheese linner for attention 🧀🌶️🔥 because the 12 polyester offenders are in the garage and I can't be bothered to go get one. 😂

Apparently being married to the lawn guy does NOT automatically put you on the schedule. 😂🌾

I started this little business 6 months ago, and I am definitely not posting this from the “look how successful I am now” side of the story.

I’m still figuring it out too.

But I’m still making stuff. Still trying weird ideas. Still showing up. Still convinced that eventually something is gonna click. 🌈

So if you’re in the same boat — keep going.

Well… yesterday definitely didn’t go according to plan. 😂

Last-minute setup on Route 30, a sign MacGyvered with citronella candle stakes, hours of watching traffic go by, and approximately 47,000 biting flies later…

I still ended the day with $73 in sales AND a pile of new bracelets and keychains made. 🌈🐿️

Was $73 a huge sales day? Nope. 😂 But I almost packed it up and went home before I ever started. Instead, I tried something a little crazy, made some money, got a ton of work done, and had a pretty peaceful day in the process.

Sometimes you just have to try the thing. Worst case, it doesn’t work. Best case, you walk away with a little more than you started with. 🤷‍♀️🌈

Apparently today I’ve added professional Route 30 traffic observer to my résumé. 😂🚗💨

Twisted Tails is popped up along Route 30 in Hanoverton today — and while everyone keeps driving by like they have somewhere better to be 😂, I’ve got a whole setup full of hand-dyed tees, dresses, kimonos, accessories, bracelets, stickers & more!

So if you’re out cruising the Route 30 sales today, be the person who actually turns in. 😂🌈

Look for the balloons 🎈 and the TIE-DYE SALE sign!
