Senior Spotlight! 🖤🎓 Let’s get to know Cecilia Howell, a graduating senior who is dancing into their next chapter this season! ⬇️

Plans for next year:
I hope to continue teaching kiddos at dance, and dancing in my free time! The rest of my "plan" is really in God's hands, so my options are open, so to speak.

How long have I been dancing:
This is my 13th year!

Favorite routine I've competed with:
God Only Know, contemporary lyrical.

Favorite studio memory:
Throwing mini parties or celebrating birthdays with my dance family!

What I'll miss most:
Without a doubt, the thing I'll miss most is all the beautiful people I get to be around; the students, and of course my amazing dance teachers. I truly couldn't ask for a better dance family. Throughout the years, Dream Makers has taught me and grown me so much, not only in dance, but also life. Having something worth missing this much is such a blessing, which I'll forever be thankful for.

Advice for younger dancers:
Have fun! Practice in your free time, stretch, and don't be too hard on yourself. Improvement will come, it just take persistence, you got this! Also, corrections are a great tool, utilize them, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Receiving corrections means your teachers believe in you, and know you can do even better- that's the kind of teacher you want!
