The director will be in touch with those that are being called back.
The second night of open auditions will be Wednesday, August 28 from 7p-8p with callbacks immediately following at Vidwest Studios.
Callbacks will consist of cold readings and the following song cuts.

At Columbia Entertainment Company, we're writing a new story! The director for Pippin, Meg, came to us with a different idea: What if we not only cast a female Pippin what if we convinced the author and the licensing company to let us change the lyrics and the vocal ranges to allow a woman with any vocal range to shine in the role? Convincing us was easy, but Meg took the extra step of getting permission from Stephen Schwartz himself, which made it very easy to get the changes approved by the licensing company!
With everyone on board, we got to work, Some of the changes were easy—for example, getting permission to change lines like “every man has his dream” to “everyone has their dream.” But one change came with a higher-than-expected cost: a required song transposition fee from the publisher. These rates went up significantly between our initial planning and casting, but we were committed to this vision-- and so we reached out to the community for help!
