Goodall Gallery at Columbia College Established in 1977, Goodall Gallery was dedicated and named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Leon S. Goodall.

Located in the Spears Center for the Arts, the Gallery presents high-quality exhibits featuring local, regional, national, and international artists.

Today we’d like to take a moment to share work by upcoming artist, Ellen Moore Osborne.
•
“Memory Cradle” will be on display in Goodall’s LOFT from August 31-September 28, 2026 in her solo exhibition, “The Architecture of Memory”.
•
When collaging vintage family portraits, Ellen has said that each figure takes her on its own journey. They reveal layers of meaning as quickly she applies new ones with her paintbrush.

Like the process of the works included in this exhibition, memory is not fixed, but instead built and rebuilt over time.

Meet upcoming artist Dylan Beckman!
•
Originally from Houston, TX, Beckman received an her MFA in photography from Yale University. She currently lives and works in Charleston, SC where she teaches photography and sculpture at the College of Charleston.
Beckman’s work is situated within the intertwined nature of instruction, allegory and the infinite interpretations of what it means to ‘believe’.

As we get closer to the approaching academic year, Goodall Gallery’s first exhibition, opening for normal hours on Monday, August 31st, invites you to question what you know, and how you know it.

“The How and Why Gallery” by artist Dylan Beckman Dylan Beckman explores the intersections of memory, education, and belief through sculptural objects, photography, and installation. Drawing from personal experiences, archival research, and various structures of learning, Beckman reveals how repetition and presentation shape what we trust.

Congratulations! 👏👏 👏 2026 Graduating Studio Art Majors! This Tuesday their exhibition opens to the public and the reception was a huge success!
Congratulations to CC’s Studio Art Professors and keep up the good work! 🙌
This year we also featured student work from the thank you for helping make this dream come true! We love to see a blending of disciplines.
This creative energy is a strong indication of what the future holds at CC!
