Salimah Stalks
Head Captain

As the first-ever Head Captain of Taste of Honey, Salimah Stalks holds a special place in the history of our organization. Her journey is one of resilience, determination, and perseverance. Throughout the years, she has faced challenges and obstacles that could have easily discouraged her, yet she continued to push forward with grace, strength, and an unwavering commitment to her goals.

Since joining the team in the sixth grade, Salimah has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and develop her craft. She considers her greatest accomplishment to be expanding her skill level and continuously challenging herself to become a stronger dancer and leader. Her dedication to personal growth has allowed her to evolve into a confident young woman who leads by example.

As Head Captain, Salimah embodies the qualities of a true leader. She is dependable, hardworking, and deeply committed to the success of her teammates. Her ability to persevere through adversity while maintaining a positive attitude has earned her the respect of both her peers and coaches. She understands that leadership is not simply about holding a title—it’s about setting the standard, inspiring others, and representing the team with excellence.

Salimah admires Priscilla Marin for her incredible talent, passion, and artistry as a dancer. Inspired by that same pursuit of excellence, she continues to challenge herself and strive for greatness. Her favorite HBCU dance line is the Texas Southern University Motion of the Ocean, whose tradition of precision, confidence, and performance excellence reflects many of the qualities she brings to the floor.

As the first Head Captain of Taste of Honey, Salimah’s legacy will always be remembered. Her story is one of growth, perseverance, and determination, proving that obstacles do not define us—how we overcome them does.

Morgan Rudolph
Head Co-Captain

Since joining Divas of Perfection in 2023, Morgan Rudolph has grown into a confident, dependable, and impactful leader. One of her proudest accomplishments has been earning a position on the leadership team, a testament to her hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the organization.

As Head Co-Captain, Morgan leads with confidence, determination, and a genuine desire to see those around her succeed. She embraces the responsibilities of leadership and consistently sets a positive example through her strong work ethic, discipline, and team-first mindset. Her growth as both a dancer and leader has made her an invaluable asset to the Taste of Honey family.

Morgan draws inspiration from Princess of Bring It!, admiring her excellence as a dancer and her influence as a former captain of the Sensational Stingettes. That same passion for performance and leadership is reflected in Morgan’s approach to her role on the team. As a devoted fan of the Sensational Stingettes, she embodies the precision, confidence, and showmanship that define HBCU dance culture.

Morgan’s leadership journey is just beginning, and we are excited to watch her continue to grow, inspire, and make a lasting impact on Taste of Honey. Her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence make her a deserving leader and role model for those who follow in her footsteps.

Nya McQueen
HBCU Lead & Drill Master

It is with great pride and excitement that we recognize Nya McQueen as our HBCU Lead and Drill Master. This is a position she has worked tirelessly to earn and one that she pursued with determination, focus, and an unwavering commitment to growth.

Nya’s journey began at a young age when she enrolled in a majorette class through the local recreation department. It was there that her passion for dance first began to flourish. She later joined the team as a seventh grader, and from that moment forward, she dedicated herself to learning, growing, and perfecting her craft.

From the very beginning, Nya displayed the qualities of a leader. Her passion for HBCU-style dance, strong work ethic, and dedication to excellence set her apart. She consistently challenged herself to improve, embraced every opportunity to learn, and remained focused on her goal of becoming a leader within the organization.

Nya naturally embodies the confidence, discipline, and presence required to lead. She has always exuded the qualities of an HBCU leader, inspiring those around her through her commitment, positive attitude, and determination. Her journey is a testament to what can be accomplished through hard work, perseverance, and belief in oneself.

As HBCU Lead and Drill Master, Nya represents the excellence, passion, and spirit of Taste of Honey. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and grateful to witness her growth from a young dancer in a recreation department class to a respected leader within our organization.

Over the years, she has transformed from a quiet and reserved dancer into a confident young leader who continues to rise to every challenge placed before her.

As HBCU Co-Lead and Drill Master, Malia demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence, consistently working to refine her skills while encouraging those around her to do the same. Her determination, resilience, and willingness to step outside of her comfort zone have made her a respected leader and role model within the organization.

Malia’s journey is a testament to the power of hard work and self-belief. She continues to grow in confidence, embrace leadership opportunities, and set a positive example for her teammates. Her future is incredibly bright, and we are proud to recognize her as a leader who represents the values of Taste of Honey with grace, dedication, and excellence.
