My studio assistant has grown! She is working on her tasks. Emptying the trash - one piece at a time. Finding my sponges - and reforming them. Landscaping the grounds around the studio. Finding offending tools and racing them out of the studio. Wears an older puppy out.

Bells! Come see me during Open Studios and you may see me throwing porcelain bells on the wheel. Chances are you will see some failures because I throw them very thin and they collapse but the thin ones make the most beautiful ring after being high fired. On Saturday I will throw the bell as a cup and let it dry to almost bone dry. Sunday I will turn them over and throw the handle. These bells are for a future event and are not for sale.

Ginkgo leaves! I enjoyed working ginkgo leaves into my pottery so much that my husband planted a ginkgo tree in our front yard. The impressions in these plants and pitcher come from that tree.
