Hello, September! 💕
The September issue of MJDA Magazine has arrived and we’ve got LOTS to talk about! 👀

Swipe through and get in the know, MJDA!
This season is just getting started! ✨💃🏽

MJDA will be closed on Monday September 7 in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy your Holiday weekend!

Happy Birthday MJDA Dancers! 🎂🎈

We’re excited to offer our dancers another opportunity to train, grow, and strengthen their skills!

On Saturday, September 19th, MJDA will host Dr. Sadia M. Robinson, Founder and Coach of Limitless Crown Tumbling Co., for a special Gymnastics Clinic at our studio.

This is a one-day supplemental training opportunity designed to complement the Acro and Tumbling instruction already offered at MJDA while giving our dancers the opportunity to work with a guest coach and experience a different approach to gymnastics-based skills and technique. You do not have to be a tumbling or acro student to attend this clinic. This clinic is great for cheerleaders as well!

Saturday, September 19, 2026
12:00–2:30 PM
Cost: $50 per dancer
Location: Mrs. Jenkins Dance Academy

Beyond proud of this incredibly talented staff! Their performance in Unbound’s “After Light” was phenomenal!

There’s something special about watching the people who pour into our dancers continue to pour into their own artistry. Absolutely stunning. We are so blessed to call them MJDA. 🩷🖤

It’s almost time!! There’s still time to grab your tickets to Unbound’s “Afterlight”, August 28-29. Scan the QR code to purchase tickets. 🎟️

We’re so excited to see our very own Michael McManus, Jocelyn Ramirez, Jordan Rice, Maggie, Kassy, and Morgan take the stage!

There’s something incredibly special about being taught by instructors who don’t just teach dance….they’re still out there DOING IT. Creating. Performing. Training. Living the art professionally.

How cool is it for our dancers to see their instructors doing what they love on a professional stage?! We love that for them and we LOVE that for MJDA. 🩷🖤
