Thanks so much for having us and for giving us the opportunity to be a blessing to our veterans. The peace we enjoy within our borders is courtesy of there service and sacrifice. Thanks Welcome Home for all you do for them! Merry Christmas ❤️ 😍

The Mid-Mo Igbo Community stopped by over the weekend to drop off 45 blessing bags for our Veterans. We are so grateful for the support of our community and groups such as the Mid-Mo Igbo Community , especially during the holidays. Thank you for helping us support our Veterans by giving back to those who have served!

Igbo people are enterprising,, resilient, and community-minded. We say "onye aghala nwanne ya" because we truly believe we rise by lifting others. During our New Yam Festival, we recognized members of our community(Igbos and non-Igbos) who have demonstrated stewardship, enterprise and selfless service in various endeavors.

Last month, we had the New Yam Festival for our "Ihe Ejiri Mara Ndi Igbo" annual showcase! It was the first of its kind in Mid -Missouri. We were honored to have Rtd, Prof. Chukwudum Innocent Okoli (KSJI), the Osimiri Atughi Nnu 1 of Amaifeke in Orlu LGA of Imo State, Nigeria in attendance. Watching him make the Kolanut presentation and perform the New Yam rites was a delight.
