I'm thrilled that Mariya Kaganskaya and Alla Gladysheva are performing my "Rachel Weeps" in Arabic and Hebrew this afternoon in San Francisco at the Interfaith Center at the Presidio in the Presidio Chapel.
Mariya sang the lead rol of Auntie Malka in my opera Elijah's Violin in the same venue in 2019. What a delight to collaborate with her again.
Watch Rachel Calloway and Lyynn Kompass in the premiere performance from 2025 here.

For Wilmington native, Meira Maxine Warshauer, the countless summers spent at Wrightsville Beach has greatly influenced her music, developing her love for the ocean and her environmental advocacy.
