Self taught and coloring outside the lines, I have been creating custom artwork since I've been old enough to hold a paint brush. Growing up near a small, historic town in Marietta, GA, I attended art summer camps and seemed to always be running out of things to draw on. Doodling, visiting the High Museum countless times and enrolling in an AP art class in High School led to a real passion when I
set off to college, where I graduated with a Bachelors in Interior Design and a minor in Art. The ability to communicate from the imagination into a visual form has always been my true passion. I love to persuade people into my work with each and every stroke of the paint brush. I enjoy creating harmony, balance and proportion in my work and find most of my inspiration from the daily items around me or on my travels. My favorite spot to paint is in the "artist" loft above our detached garage that floods with spectacular natural light during the day. Art has always been a means for me to connect with others on a personal and emotional level through a visual experience. When I'm not painting or sketching, I'm spending time with my Architect husband and three dogs building or planning our next adventure.
