Terms of Service Agreement
1. Deposits:
On average 50% is required in order to claim a specific hide listed. Local pickup/drop offs are due same day. The balance can to be set to a flexible payment plan, upon completion or in full upfront. I invoice using Square via email for online customers and also allow cashapp, venmo or zelle if preferred. In person transactions I accept debit/credit cards with Square or cash.
2. Cancellations:
I DO NOT resell for customers to provide refunds on in-progress mounts. All sales are FINAL.
Deposits are ONLY refundable in the event the hide is damaged beyond repair or lost in transit for skins PROVIDED BY ME! You have the option to have a replacement sourced (where applicable), future mount credit issued, or returned to the original method of payment. Customer-provided pelts will be returned in lieu of the deposit (Return shipping is at the buyer's expense if taken place online)
3. Payment plans:
I offer payment plans customized to your budget! Most popular payment frequency is monthly. I ask that plans do not exceed 1 calendar year unless previously discussed.
Mounts must be paid in full before shipping.
4. Shipping:
Freight charges are billed upon completion and are NOT included in the item price (unless listed otherwise) Local pickup is available and encouraged on mounts too large for the normal carriers. I use UPS exclusively unless otherwise requested. For mounts unable to ship conventionally, I have a few taxidermy-specific transport companies I can recommend to contact for quotes. Client is responsible for all costs involved. If you are unsure if your project will require special handling, please ask BEFORE purchase!
Ground speed is used by default unless a faster method is requested. Packages come fully insured for the purchase price to protect your piece!
International shipping is available where applicable. Customers are responsible for all import taxes, permits and brokers if necessary. I am not responsible for items confiscated by customs. KNOW YOUR LAWS!!
5. Pricing:

6. Deadlines:
Completion timeframes are an estimate, not a guarantee! I am a one-woman show here, and I try my very best to meet those estimates. Clients will be informed of progress as I am able, and any delays will be noted.
Current timeframe for new mounts is 15 MONTHS from day of deposit.
Deadlines can be attempted within reason, please discuss with me upfront before committing.
Traditional mounts require a MINUMUM of 2-4 weeks drying time, with 6+ being ideal. This process CANNOT be rushed in order to have a quality mount.
Please note that tanneries on average are 4-6 months out, so please take that into account if your skin must be sent off. Certain small animals are tanned in-house. Rush tans are back to me within 30 days for an added fee (varies per species).
7. Specimens:
For CLIENT PROVIDED PRE-TANNED HIDES: Please know the age of your pelt. No tans over 3 years old will be accepted. Skins will be rehydrated and tested for suitability prior to starting. Older tans can act similar to wet tissue paper when rehydrated and will not withstand the mounting process without risk of severe damage. I am not liable if they are lost or damaged in transit. PLEASE INSURE YOUR SKINS (In the event of filing a claim, you must have a valid receipt or proof of value to be considered for reimbursement by them. Random amounts will not be approved)
Hides provided by me are ethically sourced and legal to own in my state (South Carolina). Please know your state laws before purchasing (i.e no wolves allowed to CA or NY)
No protected specimens of any kind will be accepted without proper documentation.
Hides will be fully inspected and any damages/flaws will be disclosed prior to checking in.
