Rock for a Cause is a benefit concert event that raises money for Children Charities. CoFounders: Leslie Gilroy and Josh Holden set out to feature a charity event that would provide a day of great music, great fun, and great entertainment for all ages. The first Rock For A Cause Concert was held on August 27, 2011 at Jillians. The concert raised money for the Epworth Children's Home. Featured band
s from the event included: Black Bottom Biscuits, Flat Out Strangers, Modern Disruption, Head Zero, Adam Kirally Band, Fallen Kings, and The Root Doctors. The event also featured emcee, Tyler Ryan of WACH TV 57 and an appearance by Jesse- James Brown- Sumter. The event also included a silent auction. RFAC 1 raised $1,766.70 for the Epworth Children's Home. Jillians Restaurant was so impressed with the event that they asked us to come back next year. Josh and Leslie would like to thank all who made Rock For A Cause One a success. This year, RFAC is going bigger and better! Rock for the Cause 2 has teamed up with Tracey Lynn Rankin of Happy Wheels. A charity that provides toys and other fun stuff to terminally ill children in hospitals. Tracey, Josh, and Leslie are in the works to provide great bands and a few other surprises. Be sure to mark your calendar for November 3, 2012 (2-7). RFAC and Jillians is the place to be! The RFAC 2 Benefit Concert For Happy Wheels Band Line Up includes: Toyzz, Ten Toes Up, Outshine, and 311 Tribute Band - Come Original. The event will include a silent auction and vendors.
