The 10th Plowman Chamber Music Competition takes place on March 25 & 26, 2023. Deadlines are February 10 and 17th, with some updates to the application process from the past years.

Funds raised by CoMoGives 2021 enabled Odyssey Chamber Music Series to present a full season of admission-free concerts to more than 8,500 audience members, who listened to Odyssey performances either in-person and/or via livestream.
Thank you for supporting what began as a daydream in our living room. Nineteen years later, we have the same (or more!) enthusiasm for the Odyssey programs, and we are honored to be able to continue sharing what we love to do with passion.
Donations raised are used to cover our Season 19 expenses, including the Evolution of the African American Spiritual guest artists, Baroque Concerto, and Plowman Chamber Music Competition. It felt like the shortest summer, but the musicians and I are itching to share another great season of Odyssey Chamber Music Series - our 19th!
Odyssey season premiere "Fall Europa" presents some of the most charming and romantic classics: Mozart's Kegelstatt trio for clarinet, viola and piano; Schumann's Violin Sonata No. 1 and Fauré's complete "La bonne chanson," Op. 61.
Featured artists include tenor Steven Tharp, violinist Julie Rosenfeld, clarinetist Wes Warnhoff, violist Leslie Perna, and pianists Peter Miyamoto, Bomi Kim, and Ayako Tsuruta.
"Fall Europa" concert can be heard on September 23, Friday 7pm at the First Baptist Church of Columbia, 1112 E Broadway. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Livestreaming is also available.
After two admission-free seasons, we are back to ticketing in-person events.
To enable this transition, we are counting the purchased tickets, including heavily discounted season subscriptions, towards our $45,000 fundraising goal this year.
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped tape and label Odyssey and Plowman brochures, subscription tickets have already been on sale.
We also welcome tax-deductible donations!
There will be more volunteering opportunities throughout the season, especially during the Plowman weekend.
