Not a good bye, but a see you later ☀️
After lots of prayers & lots of thought, I have decided to take a step back from One Arrow for a little while. This is definitely not permanent and even better things are planned to come in the near future. So many positive stories and testimonies have arose from this binistry & I am so thankful and honored to be a part of your lives.

I have decided to focus on serving at my local church and filling myself up with the Spirit so I am able to pour more out into One Arrow. I look forward to the time that One Arrow is called back into my life, but until then I pray. Thanks for all the support y’all 💕

The best thing you can do in times of heartache is rejoice. Rejoice because the best is yet to come. Rejoice because it’s not over yet. Rejoice because the only one able to get you through it is the one who is carrying you through it. You’re already in His arms, so rejoice while you’re there and dance with Jesus. Most people think you’re supposed to dance for Jesus, but who says you can’t dance with Him?!

Yesterday a huge financial burden fell on me. One that seems ultimately impossible. But in the midst of my worry, I found myself dancing in my kitchen with worship music in one hand (and oreos in the other🙈)....and I felt completely weightless. Not only was I being picked up by my Savior, but I got to dance with Him too. However you rejoice, do it even in times of heartache. Your story isn’t over, and you’re not walking it alone.

Seems like a funny word for a Monday.
But it is a gift God has given us. I’m the worst person to consider rest because I always like to go go go. However, rest has become a recurring theme this weekend. My sweet friend Laura was telling me Saturday is always her Sabbath. She doesn’t work a lick on Saturday. She rests. She spends sweet time with Jesus. She surrounds herself with community and friends who love Jesus.

talked about the Sabbath on Sunday at . He shared the story in Mark 3 about the man with the shriveled hand. The bystanders were trying to accuse Jesus of working on the Sabbath by healing his hand. However, He didn’t even touch the hand. It was by faith that the hand was healed.

The Sabbath is a gift to all of God’s family. Sometimes all we ask for is rest because we’re so tired, but then don’t even accept the amazing gift that He freely gives us because we have too much stuff to get done. Well guess what friends! When we honor God with our time, He blesses us. We need to have faith that if we take time to rest, He will help us throughout the week get our work done.

One of the best sermons I ever heard was in October 2017. spoke a clear message with a deep topic that can be hard for all of us. In times of suffering do you dive deep into the dark waters with faith that God will do the impossible such as breathing under water or; do you avoid the problem at all costs and climb a tree to hide from it all??

Pearls—treasures—are found in deep waters and are made by affliction. They start at grains of sand and by being tossed by the waves, they become beautiful flawless treasures. But to find those treasures, you have to have faith—even as small as a mustard seed—to dive deep into your suffering so that God can pull you back up with sweet treasure.

Joy in suffering. Seems impossible right?! Well, God can do the impossible. && what you’re worried about right now, God is already working on somewhere else.

Does this verse follow Easter weekend perfectly or what? I used to have this as my phone background for months when I was really sick. (I’ll put it on the story for you to screenshot if you want a background too!!) God put His son through the most pain anyone could go through (on Good Friday), only for something new and glorious to be born (on Easter)!

As I sit in the doctors office—waiting for therapies I haven’t needed in a long time—I came across this verse. How cool is God that even when you’re at your worse, He still shows up to comfort you!! && that comfort is given to you so you can be comfort{able}. AKA able to give comfort to others when they’re in need.

Instead of blaming God or asking whyyyy in times of trouble—I challenge you to look at this verse and flip your mindset to excitement of what’s to come. I mean He does say the best is yet to come😉

We hit a milestone!! I remember the 3rd product sold was a God’s Key bracelet. The sweet girl who bought that bracelet sent me the most encouraging letter saying “I know $5 isn’t much but I love the mission that One Arrow has so keep it up”. Well guess what! It’s not about the amount or type of product. It’s about the prayers and the doors opening for your arrow to launch when you wear our products. God multiplies the number behind the scenes to meet his will. With that, I am so very thankful to be able to say that One Arrow hit $100 in sales this weekend; meaning, with the 10% donation to on each sale, we have raised enough to give a child a Bible!! If that’s not all of us saying YES when our arrow is launched, I’m not sure what is. Every single one of you that has prayed for or purchased something from One Arrow, you were obedient to God and because of that a child in a 3rd world country gets a brand new Bible. My heart is so happy and thankful right now!! I love y’all and am so grateful for all the support for One Arrow. Let’s keep launching our arrows!!!

I love love love this song. How cool is it that NOTHING can come between you and God’s grace!! As I am currently sitting on the sand looking out over the seemingly never-ending waves, I can’t help but think even the ocean isn’t bigger than Him. No matter how far away you feel from God, He is closer than you think because there is no place where His love can’t reach. && His amazing grace is unconditional and never-ending. Nothing brings me more peace than knowing this.

“AVAIL”—to help or benefit
“ABILITY”—possession of the means (or skill) to do something

God doesn’t care if you’re able to do something. Just like he doesn’t call the equipped. He just wants you to be available.
“AVAILABLE”— not otherwise occupied; free to do something.

Hence the reason “to help or benefit” is the first part of the word, not “possession of skills”. Then “possession” comes second & while it can include “possessing the skills to do something”, it is also clearly defined as “having the means to do something”. And that something = “to help or benefit”.

He just wants to hear: “Here I am Lord. I may not be A B L E but I’m A V A I L A B L E. Send me.”
Who can you be available to serve today? It can be as easy as the person sitting next to you in class, in line, at work...wherever. Not just the homeless or some big foundation. Just ask God to send you & launch your arrow where you are needed.

Prayer. Something that can be so selfless, but incredibly selfish at the same time. Something I myself take for granted. I want to share with y’all, a very real and raw moment that happened tonight with my Lord and Savior.

Jesus met me on my kitchen floor tonight. (A perk to living alone—only Jesus can find you crying on your kitchen floor🤭) I have been struggling with a conflict at work and completely gave the devil a foothold in my heart. I pretended that I could control everything in my life since it was going so great, but really I gave the reigns to the enemy. This caused me to start an unnecessary argument with my mom that took up our whole time on the phone. I was so upset that I ruined our precious, rare time to talk that I broke down crying on my kitchen floor. I finally cried out “okay God. I can’t control my life because that’s your job. I surrender.” In that moment Jesus joined me on that floor. He directed me to my Bible that I had left open from my quiet time this morning. I had left off at James 3: Taming the Tongue. The next subtitle was Two Kinds of Wisdom. And James 4: Submission to God. Every word in those sections were exactly what I needed to hear (even though my mom already said a few of them😬). But isn’t that what parents do? And isn’t God our daddy? He just wants us to listen and submit to him. And prayer doesn’t always mean you have to talk. That’s where I forget. A conversation is two ways. So also is a prayer.

If best unsaid, I’m still praying. God knows what it is. I am so thankful for such an amazing, heavenly daddy who meets us where we are. Even on the kitchen floor.
