mundane madness, teni adebayo.

it can be frustrating to be stuck in the unwavering flatline of mundanity. however, i’m learning to thrive in the normal: the valley after victory & the hallway leading to hell. i’m learning to trust that whatever season God has me in is purposeful, whether it feels like that or not.

some sweet things from 2019 so far:
- passion conf ‘19 stilled soul & ignited my spirit.
- i watched the sun chase me yesterday.
- i’ve been laughing a lot.
- tried foreign chocolates w my friend yesterday & it was hilarious.
- been attentive to love & live in God’s will.

i pray 2019 brings light that lubricates the layers of your life. i pray you learn to comfortably drown in grace and recognize sweetness through the sour spaces. i pray you’re grounded in God’s love & flourishing in the awareness of heavenly recognition. happy new year.

one of the things i learned in 2018 is i cannot always dictate/ tame how my heart would be hurt by something/ someone but i can always choose healing.

my faith is the foundation of who i am. sometimes, i still struggle to acknowledge that foundation within the frustrating process of finding my identity & values. in 2019, i’m going to make a conscious effort to base my whole life on God because that’s the only way i can truly live my one life.

i can almost feel the moment. mary’s pelvis of power pushed out the savior. just a babe. he probably cried- a rejoicing echo of purpose as he thrived in his habitat: the darkness of earth. a prophecy fulfilled. a world unaware of its revival. & my soul, awaiting redemption.
