The first fall 2022 Choral Union rehearsal is coming up on August 25! Choral Union welcomes new and returning members to sing Verdi's REQUIEM with the University Philharmonic and guest soloists. No audition required.
-Messa da Requiem by Giuseppi Verdi (Novello edition). $20.00 available at 1st three rehearsals
-Dues: $20.00
-Rehearsal: Thursday, August 25, 2022 and each Thursday, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Sinquefield Music Center - Sheryl Crow Hall

The Murray Center for Documentary Journalism, in partnership with Ragtag Cinema and Netflix, will show "Descendant," the Sundance award-winning documentary, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Missouri Theatre. Director Margaret Brown will take questions after the screening. Admission is free.
"Frederick Wiseman: Institutions," a Murray Center collaboration with Ragtag Cinema, begins on Sept. 14 at Ragtag Cinema. The eight-film weekly series opens at 6 p.m. with "Titicut Follies. Been loving this run with Gordon Lightfoot! Got in early to tonight’s venue, the Missouri Theatre in Columbia, MO. Got a long ride ahead of us tonight up to Michigan for another show tomorrow before a day off. Grateful for great audiences, good weather and good company!
REMINDER: The Stronger Than Fiction Film Festival begins this afternoon at the Missouri Theatre. Films directed by documentary journalism students will screen in blocks at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There is no cost to attend. Here's the schedule and descriptions. The films will also be available for streaming beginning May 13.
