We carry salt and fresh water fish, live plants, live corals, and a huge selection of tanks. Fishy Business is a 10,000 square foot Aquarium Super Store located in Columbia SC; Fresh and Salt Water Fish, Live Corals, Live Plants and pond fish and supplies. Specializing in standard & custom Aquariums and Cabinets. We also offer aquarium service, installation and tank moves. We carry many brands of aquarium supplies, Aqueon,Seachem, Hagen, Eshopps, Sicce, Cobalt, Aquatop, Nature’s Ocean, Red Sea, Neptune, Carib Sea just to name a few . We have a complete decoration room full of decorative Rock that has a table set up to design your decorations on . We also carry hundreds of pieces of driftwood as well . On the saltwater side we receive 3-4 orders of fish every week and specialize in aqua cultured live corals . We are located at 652 bush river rd , very close to I 20 and I 26 . We are happy to help with all your aquatic needs .

Well I think I went a little overboard! In celebrating 40 years of Fishy Business I decided to put over 100 thousand dollars worth of new and expanded inventory into our store! This weeks delivery included new tanks from UNS . Although we have been carrying the small UNS Aquariums for a while now , we recently decided to start carrying their reef tanks . These are some of the nicest aquariums we have ever stocked . If you haven’t seen these in person, come by anytime and we will be happy to show you and discuss all the options that UNS offers .

Good morning Facebook! Today, I'm going to be talking about my time in the aquarium industry and how I got to where I am at Fishy Business, now! I've been keeping fish, as a hobbyist for many years now, and for a long time, I was a stay-at-home mom. I ended up getting a job offer from an aquarium supply company, working from home! I fell in love with it! Unfortunately, Covid happened, and my job was eliminated. I decided I wanted to keep working, so I started helping at trade shows and with online auctions with different coral vendors. Then, I came to Fishy Business! I've held many titles here in the 6+ years that I've been employed, and I've loved every second of it! This industry has brought many friendships and fun times, and it's allowed me to travel parts of the East Coast and see things I may not have otherwise been able to see! As Sir Richard says.... "We're all lucky we got to make our hobby our career!"

So over the course of the next few days, I'm going to give you a little more insight into what led up to me working here at Fishy Business, maybe dive into a look at the animals I keep at home... and talk about some personal hobbies of mine. Sorry forgot to finish this series!! Final day of getting to know me, Diana! I dont have many other true hobbies but the two biggest ones are roller skating and singing. Ive always enjoyed singing(not saying im good at it) but I truly truly love it. I have such a wide range of different genres its easier to say I hate rap/screamo and thats about it. I love everything from Celtic, Christian, country and even some alternative. But musicals, omg musicals. Give me some Dear Even Hanson and Epic or even high school musical. Barbie is ingrained into my brain too, I sing connected from diamond castle to my son at night to put him to sleep.( lets not tell him that til hes older) Skating. Omg Roller skating. I have been skating since I was 12 and did it professionally for work since I was 16. I truly found a love while working at sonic as a carhop. I was the best carhop in 6 states, I could do circles around anybody expect my best friend Ashley who was my skating buddy. We learned so much together on our shoes with wheels, we did so much stupid stuff on our shoes with wheels. Climbing rocks, skating down hills we really shouldnt have, and launching ourselves off of ramps. I still have that scar lol. I love the rush you get going fast and learning new tricks. Sonic really defined those skills for me bc when you spend 12+ hours on wheels they kinda become normal and an extension of yourself.
