Students can choose to learn hand sewing techniques such as embroidery and cross-stitching, or how to safely and confidently use a sewing machine. We start with simple beginner projects like bookmarks and pillows, then gradually progress to more advanced creations including bags and simple clothing.
Classes meet live on Zoom for 1-hour or 25-minute weekly sessions. Because these are individual sewing lessons, each class is fully customized to the student’s skill level, interests, and learning style. Learners receive step-by-step guidance, plenty of encouragement, and time to build confidence with every stitch.
