A Few Ripples During Our Lighthouse Transition
If you’ve driven by Lighthouse Café over the past couple of days and wondered, “What in the world is going on over there?” We promise, we’re okay!
As we navigate our Lighthouse Transition to new ownership, we’ve encountered a few unexpected hiccups.
Yesterday, an issue with the transfer of our utility accounts left us without power for much of the morning. The lights came back on around noon, but unfortunately, it meant we missed most of the day with you.
Then this morning, we arrived to another surprise. No water! Thankfully, that issue has already been resolved, the water is back on, and we’re up and running!
And if you saw a fire truck parked in front of the café this morning, no worries. There was no fire at Lighthouse Café. The building’s fire alarm system was being tested, and the fire department was onsite assisting with the process.
Apparently, our transition wanted to make sure we tested everything: lights, water AND alarms!
Through it all, Lighthouse Café is still here, still smiling, and ready to serve our Lake Carolina community.
Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and especially your continued support as we begin this new chapter. A few hiccups won’t dim the Lighthouse!
