📸 Photo Contest Winners 📸

First, Second, and Third Place winners were selected by Secret Judging Panel, and then visitors voted on the People's Choice during the Downtown Days Festival last week:

First place: Double R Farm "Sitting Cow" by Joe Rogers
Second place: Ernestine Bennett [with red barn door...]
Third place: Cynthia Ward [Foggy morning]
People's Choice: Gardenia Flower USA by Cassie Jo Rogers

Photographers are asked to leave their photos until the end of this week, so folks can come by to see the winners. The Adair County Public Library's Genealogy & History Research Center is located at 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Operating hours are 9amCT to 5pmCT weekdays and 9amCT to NoonCT on Saturdays.

Any photographer who wishes may donate their entries to the Research Center photo collection, in anticipation of a Downtown Days Art Calender in the future. We hope to have enough to create a calendar for 2026 or at least 2027.

What a show!
🎶🎸Talented country singer and songwriter, Jerrod Niemann closed out Saturday night with a great set of his original music including chart-topping hits "Lover, Lover" and "Drink to that All Night" and some well-known covers! What a perfect finale to an amazing weekend in Columbia! Thank you to everyone who came out to make this festival one for the books!

Another Great Year for the Downtown Days Car Show!

What a fantastic turnout — 85 cars filled the lot this weekend, and several proud owners went home with trophies! 🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, attended, and helped make this year’s show such a success. Your passion and support keep this tradition rolling year after year!

🎸Lewis Brice and the Escorts brought so much energy to our stage and put on the kind of show that makes you an instant fan--and he stuck around to meet the crowd, sign autographs and take photos! What a great night in Columbia!

The first night of Downtown Days is in the books and what a story to tell! Thank you for coming out and supporting all of the vendors, food trucks and musicians who joined us on the square for a great night!
Family Tradition headlined Friday night with a show full of Hank Williams Jr. songs we know and love! What a performance by this band and what an amazing show of support from our community--one of the biggest Friday nights in the 21 year history of Downtown Days! We are so thankful to these guys for their talent and for being so easy to work with! If you missed Friday--you won't want to miss Saturday!

It's late on Friday night or early Saturday morning and we are filled with so much gratitude! Thank you to everyone who came out and made the first night of Downtown Days one of the biggest ever!
If you didn't make it out--you missed a great night of vendors, food and music!
Local favorite Green River Band opened the night with a great set! These guys are talented and fun and you can tell that they love playing!
